For the first time since arriving in Washington, I have sold a piece of writing. I’m not going to focus on the bad part–how embarassingly long it has been–and just celebrate the simple fact that someone appreciated my work enough to pay me. Things seem to have gotten better in the writing world since my last run through the publishing mill. The website I published through, Associated Content, is also offering me royalties based on how many unique visitors I receive. So…yeah…tell all your friends. ^^

I am happy for you, Andrea! After hearing the excellent spoken presentation of your short story, Dragon Psychology, available at http://www.sniplits.com, I am not at all surprised that more of your delightful writing is being published! Thank you for sharing.

Do I count as a unique visitor? Your article was nice and succinct. Very helpful to those freshly navigating the short story scene. Which is a creature unto its own.
Good job and keep it up!
